Good morning Chamber Members and Friends! Please see the video from Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce President Dave Carlin. Thank you and be well!
Dear Chamber Members and Friends,
Many Oak Brook area restaurants and bars are seriously suffering due to dining room closures and other social distancing precautions being taken to reduce community spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) .
Please help our local restaurants and restaurant employees survive the pandemic by ordering take-out, no contact curbside pickup, or delivery. Another way you can help is by tipping generously and purchasing gift cards for your favorite Oak Brook area restaurants.
The below pdf list of restaurants have modified their business practices to continue to serve the Oak Brook area by providing drive-thru, takeout, curbside pickup and delivery. In the event of a government shelter-in-place order, restaurants and grocery stores will remain open.
Looking for another way to help?
Please consider donating to the Oak Brook Area Coronavirus Relief Fund organized to support Oak Brook area hospitality workers severely impacted by COVID-19. Contributions to the Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Partnership are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Restaurants interested in being included on future take-out and delivery communications please contact Jenny Stanko at [email protected].
Thank you,
David Carlin

Dear Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce Members and Friends,
In response to the rapidly evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, the Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce will be cancelling and rescheduling our Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon scheduled for March 25, 2020, at The Hyatt Lodge.
Presently, there have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Oak Brook, Oakbrook Terrace, or DuPage County.
This cancellation is a preventative measure being taken following school closings, the implementation of work-at-home strategies by a number of member organizations, and recommendations from the Governor’s Office that all events over 250 people be cancelled to help prevent community spread and further transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
Special thanks to the Hyatt Lodge and General Manager Norm Canfield for your willingness to host a rescheduled Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon on another date and for the extraordinary precautions you are taking to protect your guests, employees, and other members of the community.
We look forward to gathering at Hyatt Lodge to celebrate the Chamber’s 2020 award recipients, together as a business community, when circumstances return to normal. In the mean time, Chamber members can still enjoy the terrific food at Hyatt Lodge’s Waters Edge restaurant and smaller groups and community members can still book events and staycations at the Hyatt Lodge and Oak Brook and Oakbrook Terrace’s other terrific hotel properties.
Do not hesitate to email [email protected] with any questions regarding this message or if the Chamber can be of assistance during these unprecedented and challenging times.
Sincerely,
David Carlin
