The window-treatment company Beyond Shades has opened its first store in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The new store exclusively sells shades, shutters, and blinds made by Hunter Douglas, the premier global manufacturer of window coverings. Mayor Ragucci from the City of Oakbrook Terrace as well as City Alderman and Chamber staff were also on hand for the event.

“We are a custom window treatment company offering beautiful window treatments and
impeccable service at an exceptional value.” said Beyond Shades president Rachel Gregersen.
“We are happy to do any size project. We will do one bathroom window or an entire home. We
work with our clients in their space at their pace.”

The new store has extensive displays of all the window coverings offered by Hunter Douglas
arranged with the clients buying needs in mind. The Beyond Shades team can even
demonstrate how these window coverings can be raised and lowered through the use of a
digital assistant like Amazon’s Alexa or Google Home.

In addition to window coverings, the Oakbrook Terrace store offers Nourison rugs and custom
draperies in hundreds of fabrics. Beyond Shades also partners with Reclaimed Table, which
offers beautiful tables made out of classic reclaimed wood.

Beyond Shades is located at 17W508 22nd Street in Oakbrook Terrace, IL, 60181. It is open on
Monday through Friday from 10 to 6 and on Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 5.
