Michael J. Metz
Vice President Michael J. Metz is celebrating a 25‐year anniversary at Krusinski Construction Company (KCC). Metz joined the KCC team in 1991 as both project manager and superintendent. In 2008, Metz earned his certificate in the Healthcare Construction Program through the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) and the American Hospital Association and became LEED Accredited in 2009.
Today, Metz is one of KCC’s project executives and continues to lead major complex industrial and commercial design‐build projects. This year, Metz plans to oversee projects for long‐term clients, including DCT Industrial and ML Realty Partners.
“We value long‐lasting partnerships,” states Jeffrey J. Krusinski, President at KCC. “As a team member who has shown great dedication for over two decades, and has built great relationships with our clients, Metz is the epitome of what KCC’s success is built on.”
One of Metz’s most notable achievements is his 10‐year client partnership with a national pharmaceutical design and manufacturing company. With this client, Metz has led nationwide design‐build projects totaling more than 1.8 million square‐feet in Illinois, Iowa, New York, Mississippi and Tennessee.
KCC is also celebrating 44 years in business, and in the last 10 years, has expanded significantly in location and project diversity. For long‐term client, CN Railway, KCC built their U.S. Training Campus in Homewood, Illinois, as well as offices, data centers and rail yard facilities in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Currently, KCC is working with several local and national developers to provide pre‐construction and construction services, while expanding into other markets across the country.
