The Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce is very grateful for your company’s continued membership and support. Thanks to you, this last year was an amazing year of growth and achievement for the chamber and area businesses. The chamber’s membership, meetings and activities grew and the chamber, itself, grew as we expanded the staff to meet the increasing needs and requirements of our business community. This internal growth has allowed us to position ourselves to provide even more support for companies in the future.

In addition, the chamber’s Greater Oak Brook Economic Development Partnership achieved another record number of business relocations, expansions and retentions for Oak Brook and Oakbrook Terrace. And it was an incredible year for the creation of new partnership initiatives and activities that will further support our business community’s goals, such as the development of a new transportation project to address the need for local employee and visitor distribution from the Elmhurst and Hinsdale train stations.

The coordination and cooperation between the Village of Oak Brook, the City of Oakbrook Terrace and the local business community has become even more significant and critical to the chamber and the economic development partnership. We appreciate the efforts of both municipalities to work closely with us to achieve common goals.

In several weeks, we’ll all have an opportunity to come together for an especially important and informative Annual Meeting and Awards Breakfast. This year the chamber will provide an enhanced and succinct event format to ensure that members learn about the most important business priorities for the upcoming year, meet the chamber’s new board of directors, hear a unique and timely keynote presentation on business and government leadership, and recognize fellow companies for outstanding business achievement.
